This presidential election has been a memorable one (and not in a good way). Hillary Clinton still has a three-point lead over Donald Trump, despite the FBI deciding to reopen the case about her email scandal. 45% percent of likely voters say they support Ms. Clinton, while 42% would vote for Mr. Trump. This small lead shows that there is “little that could swing voters now in the final hours leading up to Election Day” (Kyle Drop, Morning Consult Co-Founder and Chief Research Officer). However, there is still a lot of uncertainty in the eventual outcome. Because of the unpopularity of the two main candidates, the polls show that about 12% of U.S. citizens will be voting for either Libertarian Gary Johnson (8%), or Green Party nominee Jill Stein (4%). Hillary Clinton is going into Election Day better-liked than Trump, despite the fact that they both have historically high unfavorable ratings for presidential nominees. 56% of likely voters have an unfavorable opinion of Clinton, and 61% of voters have an unfavorable opinion of Trump. However, while 42% of people have a favorable view of Ms. Clinton, only 37% have a favorable view of Trump, and while 5% may not seem like a lot, it actually is. However, if Ms. Clinton does win the White House, it’s been predicted that she’ll have a tough time dealing with Capitol Hill, which currently has a Republican Majority. More than half of the survey respondents support a continued GOP-led investigation into her use of a private email server, and surprisingly, over 25% of democrats surveyed agree. This survey/new article just go to show how difficult the next four years will be for the candidate that wins the white house. My opinion on this is that America could do a lot better. The unpopularity rates for both candidates are so low that 12% of Americans are voting for third-party candidates, knowing that they don’t have a chance at winning. I’m scared for the next four years, because while one of the main candidates is crazy, the other candidate would be facing a hostile congress and wouldn’t be able to get anything done. America is doomed. Source: http://www.politico.com/story/2016/11/politico-morning-consult-poll-hillary-clinton-donald-trump-230818

Seems like nobody really likes either of the candidates really, which is unfortunate. But this article is good news (for me)! Great job with this article.
